Single-segment Speed run of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within on XBox done on September 2 2005. Played on hard difficulty and collects all health upgrades and the water sword for a "100%" game. Available in 3 versions: low quality, normal quality, 640x480 high quality. Author's comments: It took me a long time to get around to playing Warrior Within, but when I did (and when I watched Mkt's fun speedrun), I was inspired. Similar to the first Prince of Persia , the character explores various deadly areas by running, jumping, crawling, avoiding traps, solving puzzles and drinking magic potions . Prince of Persia 2 is, however, more combat-heavy than its predecessor. In the first game, enemies appear only occasionally and are always alone, while in the sequel, up to four enemies may appear at once, sometimes flanking the player, and may even be instantly replaced by reinforcements when they are killed. As... Topics: MSDos, Prince of Persia
The game takes place eleven days after the events of the first game . During this period, the Prince was hailed as a hero who defeated the evil Jaffar. He turns down all riches and instead asks for the Princess's hand in marriage as his reward, to which the Sultan of Persia reluctantly agrees. The game begins as the Prince enters the royal courts of the palace. Before he enters, however, his appearance changes into that of a beggar. Nobody recognizes him, and when he attempts to speak with... Topics: DOS, Prince Of Persia
Speed run of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within on easy mode in 7 segments. Available in 3 versions: low quality, normal quality, and 60fps high quality. Author's comments: Since the whole thing is almost 4 hours it would be hard for me to describe certain things unless you've already played the game. I thought that the amount of time it would take to beat this game would be roughly the same as the sands of time, but when the first thing I had completed was 45 minutes and I was barely 1/4 into... Single-segment speed run of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for GameCube done on October 1 2005. Available in four versions: low quality, normal quality, and 50 fps high/insane quality. Author's comments: I never thought I would be on SDA, this run is more or less and accident. Somehow I became obsessed with this game and played through it multiple times a day trying to get the lowest time possible. When I noticed that I was only a few minutes away from the previous record I decided to make... favoritefavoritefavoritefavoritefavorite ( 2 reviews ) Topics: Prince of Persia, Single-segment, GameCube
Single-segment run of The Price of Persia: The Sands of Time done on February 25 2004 with the Xbox version. Time is 2:05 at the final game save as shown at the end of video. 2:09:56 time includes time for final fight and for a death that the game doesn't include. Author's comments: PoP is a fun game to speed run, because so much of the game is spent doing impressive-looking stunts. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones (aka The Two Kingdoms in France or Rival Swords on Wii and PSP) is the final opus of the revamped trilogy started in 2003 by Ubi Soft, based upon the famous creation of Jordan Mechner. It's principally a platforming game but also contains combat and puzzles. OOOOkay... So why should I watch this ? I think it's a pretty good game, keeping the combat system of the second game with the atmosphere of the first one. But many people stopped with the Warrior Within... You probably know this game. But for the few who maybe do not... Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is a 2003 third person 'action adventure' by Ubisoft Montreal (developers of other good game such as Assassin's Creed and the Splinter Cell series) and a continuation of the iconic Prince of Persia series. The last game in this series before it, Prince of Persia 3D, was a horrible failure, so the developers had to avoid tanking again to not doom the franchise - and by god, they did a marvelous job... Prince of Persia 3D, as the title suggests, is the third official installment of the well-known Prince of Persia series. It was developed by Red Orb Entertainment (a company which spawned from Broderbund Software, who published the first two games) and released by The Learning Company in September 1999. It is the last game of the series prior to its rebirth back in 2003, as a game company called Ubisoft released a pretty fun game called Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. But, let's not get... Don't let the thread title confuse you... Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is an amazing game. One of my favorites, and probably a favorite of everyone who's played it. It has one of my favorite video game soundtracks ever, the gameplay is fluid and fun, the characters are interesting and interact well with each other (not that there are many of them), and the time manipulation mechanic rewards both skilled and unskilled players by making mistakes less painful and combat less onerous. The combat... Topics: let's play, Nidoking, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
